live civilly, inc. partners with municipal organizations, public schools, private enterprises, houses of worship, individuals and families to create a community wide web of support. Live Civilly’s Youth Service Initiatives have three primary focal points: Nutritional Security; Educational Security and Life Skills Development. While these three categories dominate live civilly, inc.’s current efforts, live civilly, inc. is committed to providing youth with resources to help them find areas of service that speak to their passions.

live civilly, inc. was started by three young sisters, Anna, Grace and Abigail Buss in 2011. The organization was the product of the sisters’ desire to connect with their community and the lack of opportunities available to young children. The desire to connect with and directly impact and help their community developed momentum with their peers and in three short years, their outreach initiatives have touched the lives of thousands of individuals in the South Jersey area.

From opening a food pantry in 2011 that now serves close to 400 individuals monthly, to creating volunteer programs for youth as young as 4, live civilly, inc. has created an opportunities for youth of all ages, backgrounds and interests. The development of a Community Supported Garden System in 2013 that engages young citizens and connects them to outreach in their community has been a tremendous step in this process. This year, the Community Supported Garden System connected with the Moorestown Upper Elementary School and built a learning/teaching garden that helps to support community needs. 2014 will be the springboard for even more innovative initiatives.
